Why Can't People Just Have Fun?
October 24, 2009
Last night fucking sucked.
So, Christina, Stephanie, Ian, and I were all going to Fear Fest at Wonderland. We were going in Ian's jeep. First, the seat belts don't work in the back. Second, Ian's battery ides and we had to get his dad to come and restart the car. Than, it starts pouring as we're driving up, and Ian can barely see. We get to Vaughan, and he gets off at the wrong exit so we spend thirty minutes trying to go North bound again. However, after the thiry minutes Steph is all freaked out and wants to go home. WE'RE ALMOST FUCKING THERE AND SHE WANTS TO GO HOME. So we go home, rent a few movies, get some junk food and go back to my house. Ian is pissed off at Chris so he goes home.
I understand why Steph was upset. She doesn't know Ian well, and she has severe panic disorder. But in the end I just wish she had lived a little and we had gone. Who fucking cares if it's raining! I've had more fun in a fucking snow storm. I was ready to have fun, real fun that I haven't had in a long time and like usual it got fucked up.
Because our tickets are non-refundable we're going today, with my dad, who is driving us, and Christina and Ian are in the jeep.
I think what upsets me most is that Christina and Ian were finally letting me in on their lives, and I actually felt like the whole thing was normal. So much for that. Now Ian doesn't like Steph - even went so far as to ask if maybe I could just go with them and Steph to stay home. Of course I said no. She's my friend, and even if she did kinda mess things up, I'm not going to turn my back on her. There will be other times where I can 'bond' with my sister's boyfriend. The thing is, we all know they are going to get married, and she is my twin sister, I would like to have some kind of relationship with him. At least a friendly one.
My main focus right now is just to have a good time, throw what happened yesterday out the window, and have some fun.
Well, that's the plan anyway.
